A Subgroup of the Society
The United African Legion
Order. Protection. Propagation. The operational arm of the Iteru Kem Basilica Society.
The Mandate
Sole Objective
The sole objective of the United African Legion is to provide operational public and private security services to Iteru Kem members, members' families, administrative and operational staff, and private allies. Officers will also assist in the distribution and propagation of the Society's teachings pursuant to our mission to educate, mobilize, and transform.
Functions
What the Legion Does
Member & Family Security
Operational security services for Society members, their families, and designated dependents — both in public settings and at private Society events and gatherings.
Staff & Ally Protection
Protection of the Society's administrative and operational staff, and of private allies whose work advances the Society's mission and who require a security presence.
Event Security
Planning and execution of security protocols for Society events — lectures, assemblies, mobilization actions, and any gathering conducted under the Society's auspices.
Teaching Distribution
Assisting in the physical distribution and propagation of the Society's teachings — carrying materials, facilitating access, and ensuring that the Society's educational mission reaches those it is intended to reach.
Principles
The Officer's Code
The Legion exists to serve the Society and its people — not itself. Officers hold no authority over members except in matters of immediate security.
Force is a last resort. The Legion's first instrument is presence, its second is de-escalation, its third is removal. Physical force is authorized only when all other means are exhausted.
Officers are students of the Society's teachings. The Legion does not produce soldiers ignorant of the mission they protect. Every officer is expected to know the work.
Discretion is absolute. The identities of members, allies, and protected persons are never disclosed. The Legion's operations are not discussed outside authorized channels.
Enlistment
Joining the Legion
The Legion is not open to the general membership by default. Enlistment requires a separate passphrase issued through the Society's internal channels. Those who have received it may enter the Legion's operational portal below. Those who believe they are called to this service and have not yet received the passphrase should make their interest known through The Inner Chamber.
